Thirty years ago today John Lennon was murdered by a deranged fan. So its a sad day :/
On the news, they did this memorial part for him. They showed his last interview, which was three days before he died actually (Dec. 5th). Well, just a lil part of it. I think it was like a nine-hour interview for the Rolling Stones? But the part on the news was him saying "You know, its really true. I do believe that All You Need Is Love. I truly believe that..."
They put in a few other parts too, but thats really what I remember...

ReplyDeleteHeard an interview of one of his friends yesterday. He commented that John L. really didn't like himself. He said all the cocky talk was just that, talk.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you are interested in history...older bands and authors. Not just stuck in your 2010 surroundings. Very inciteful. I love to read Maeve Binchy. She is an awesome Irish author. Some sad stuff, some funny stuff. Love the way she talks and describes people. Reading her books is like sitting on a bench in the mall and just watching people.
