Weird Children

I walked into the living room today to find Madi sitting IN a laundry basket, ON the coffee table, in the dark, two feet from the tv. Wow. Dont really know how she came to BE in the basket, or why. All i know is i took a picture. :))) LOL!

Rock Sugar

So I kind of stumbled upon this band called Rock Sugar. They take songs that dont have anything to do with each other, and you wouldnt think they would even go together, and mix them together. Its absolutely amazing. And they flow so well, and sound AWESOME.

Sooo whats new?
Im making a B in...Geometry I think? Yes, in Geometry. Im not even making a B in Chemistry. Which is insane, Chemistry is just...rediculous.

Football game against Gainsville (OOOO DRAMA!) tonight. haha :) I dont know why Sanger dislikes Gainsville so much..? Kinda the same thing as Sanger and Argyle. I dont understand this...

I was just a householder on tuesday, in the back school. And of course, i forget my bible, and i have to use a brand new one from the library, it was difficult. haha.

Jenny is sleeping on my floor, next to me. Shes using my dirty clothes, my purse, and backpack, as a pillow. A pillow! (for her head, like a person.) such a spoiled dog...

Uhm what else? I dont know, haha.

okay so I get to (as if its a privilege) do this project for chemistry. I'm putting an element on a ceiling tile. Were putting the periodic table on our science room ceiling. So my question is: what can I put on my tile (its 2x2) that will be awesome? :) lights...? Battery powered of course. Idk...
its due Monday so ideas gotta be before then!!

If-Then Book

So tomorrow i have a project due for Geometry.

(I much prefer Algebra over Geometry btw.)

Anywho, the project is an IF-Then book. Like, If you give a mouse a cookie? Or if you give a pig a pancake? The little kid books. I had to make one :) Mines, if you give a kindergartener a bottle of glue! hehe, i love it. I using tons of glitter glue, lol.

Today i made a 100 on a Chemistry test! About the elements. Not all of them, just like 23 of em. Then i made a 98 on a Eng Vocab test :D Over literary terms.

Drivers Ed is really difficult when youre in school...I dont have time to do anything. Drive time, even online time is hard.

Cant wait for the Assembly this wknd!!!!!!

First Week of School - Sophomore's RULE

First week of school DONE! thank goodness.

We have our first home football game tonight too, so we had a pep rally at school. Library time for me! haha. i finished my Geometry Homework during it. Me and this one other kid, he read his book and i did math. Lol :)

While i was in the library (during the pep rally) my contact was hurting me so bad! I didnt even know how old they were either (2 weeks? 5 weeks? Who knows)...It had been hurting for a few hours, but at that point it was irritating me too much. So i just went to the bathroom and took em out, threw em away :P I couldnt see, but at least it didnt hurt anymore.
Then i had to stay after school and finish my art project. It was difficult to find things in the art room, the labels are waaaay too small. ahaha. I could see to paint though, i can see up close pretty well.

Last night, from the second i got home, till 9:30, I was doing homework. UGHHH. I had 6 projects due Friday. SIX!!!!!
One of them was a group project, and 2 other kids were mainly doing it, so that was okay. I had 3 English, a history, spanish, art. Plus OTHER history homework, and Geometry. Yuppp.

Psht please, you had homework on the first day? No prob. I had homework for a class I hadnt even started yet, last June :P

I get my license in December/January. The date i can schedule my test (apparently you have to schedule it 2 weeks before hand) is December 25th. Funny right? The day theyll be closed...
The parking spot 10 bucks :) not bad. And itll stand empty for half the year, ha.

Drivers Ed Online

Online school stinks. I mean really, there is no mandatory times I have to be on there, theres nothing making sure I understand what the heck theyre talking about, theres no leering teacher looking over my shoulder, making sure Im paying attention. And all those may seem to be awesome bonuses, but theyre not! I need some motivation. All I have is a deadline. End of December. Thats so hard for my brain to fathom! I cant comprehend December! Thats so far away! School even seems far away to me, and thats in a few weeks!

Galveston

So we went to Galveston and it was tons of fun :) I was the only one who didnt sun burned, out of my family. :D haha. So proud...
We stayed in Houston the first night, and then Galveston two more nights. Right on the Seawall! We could see the ocean from our balcony. And McDonalds. :)
I ate mango icecream, which actually doesnt taste like icecream at all. Just btw.
We built sandcastles and Madi actually got pretty far in the water!! I coaxed her out. hehe.
Though its really sandy and our van has a coating of sand all over it now. We had to go through the car wash and vaccuum it all out. And i put my phone in my purse today, and when i pulled it out, it was covered in sand. ha. Guess i need to clean out my purse :P
Tyler loved the ocean, he went waaaaay far out into the bigger waves with me. It was super fun. And we brought home a whole walmart bag full of shells, haha.

Then we stopped at Big Shucks on the way home, it was delicious!!! :)

BIG Permit NEWS

I went to gainsville this morning to get it. The test was actually written, not on la computadora. It was 30 qs and I missed 4 eeek!! It was scary, she graded it right in front of me and I was counting every one she marked wrong..
And she didnt even seem enthused to tell me I passed! I mean come on, this is a huge deal. A tremendous accomplishment, and she says flatly "well you passed"...
Well thats just dandy.
But im still ecstatic!!!

Misc

Its halfway through the year, and I only have like 40-something posts. If I want to beat last years 130-somethin, I need to kick it up a notch!

Im sittin on the couch, waiting for 12 o clock so we can leave for the meeting. Its at 1, we leave an hour early because it takes 30 minutes to get there, and we wanna be 30 mins early....

Summer So Far...

Hey there all my peeps!
(Yes you are my peeps)

School has been out for a while now. Lets see...today is sunday, school was let out on a tuesday. Week before last...so a week and 5 days. Which is 12 days! :D right? lol.

Ive been babysitting and getting sunburnt. Thats really it :) haha. my summer so far...i was sunburned first day of summer in service, second day of summer from laying out.
And let me tell you, do NOT spend too much time on your stomach when laying outside without sunscreen on the back of your legs. After your burnt, itll hurt to sit down, lay down, put on pants, bend your knees, or be in ANY kind of crouching position.
Just an FYI.
and then i was burnt again when i was laying out AGAIN.

I know I know, im gonna get skin cancer or melanoma. You dont have to lecture me on it.

And ive been babysitting. Ungrateful children.... Im glad im not their mother :P

The Safety Scissors Savages

Embarrassment...

So I had to stay after school today to work on my art proj. It was around 4:30 ish. My phone was dead this morning, so I used someone else's to call my mom and tell her to come get me.
There is one arts hall. It has band, art, choir. So I step out into the hall because Im fixing to leave. I take one look at the hall and walk right back into the art room. Lining the hall on both sides are dozens of band kids, sitting on the floor, all wearing their band shirts. They ALL turn to look at who's walking into the hall.
So Im back in the art room, wondering what to do. I really dont want to walk down that hall. But its the only way out.
So I start out the door once more, with the same girl whose phone I used, and its eerily quiet. Like super silent. Im really freaked out. All these band kids are just staring, not saying a word. I look to the girl walking next to me, and say "Hey" to get her attention, to give her back her phone. Dozens of SSSSHHHHH!!!!!'s scare me to death. Im like "What the heck?!" In my mind. The closest kid, at the end of the line, is like "Theyre recording in the choir room." Recording what?? Im totally confused, but I just nod and am like Okay.
Super embarrassing.
THEN the kids at the other end of the line are trying to trip me! Like hello! cuz THATS not gonna make a noise, when I fall on my face :P

Then I realize, they could probably hear every single word we had said in the art room just minutes before...goodness.


Anyways, that was embarrassment of the day. Hope you enjoyed.

Today was the Special Talk...It was really good :) I took notes! ("Of course you did," youre thinking.) A ton of people showed up for it. The meeting even ran over time a lil bit! Everyone stayed after later than usual too. How was yours at your hall?!

Strep

So Im at home...its Saturday. 2:05 pm. Im sittin here on my bed "resting". In pajamas...The Oprah Winfrey channel is on. I took a shower earlier, and didnt dry my hair or anything, so its all over the place.
Ive been feeling pretty bad the last couple days...since like Wednesday I think. So yesterday at like 5-ish I got the chills and felt pretty bad. I didnt know what to do, should i go to the doctor? Go saturday morning? I didnt know.
So we decided I should go that night, and good thing I did. Fever just got worse. By the time i got to the doctor it was 101.
Had to take the strep test :P HATE it. While we were waiting for the results, I said "Well i better have it!" You know what i mean, if youve ever had it done. Its horrible.
(see previous posts about having it done before).
So guess who has strep?! ME!! yay. not. I got anti-biotics, and was told to eat TONS of cold stuff. Icecream, slushies, milkshakes, popsicles :) Well I didnt know if I could handle that...(sarcasm).

I went and got my ring sized yesterday!! The ring was an 8 1/2!!! He lied and gave us an 8 1/2!! He SAID it was an 8. And then he goes "Oh sorry we dont carry half sizes". Uh sorry buddy, but obviously you do!! You gave me and 8 1/2!! So annoying. Im getting it sized down to a 7 1/2.
And we had taken my purple dress to the cleaners becuase it had oil stains on it from Johney Carino's, and they got em out!! Me and mom were ecstatic!! :)

So the assembly was super great!! I took a gazillion pages of notes :) just kidding, i took like 15.

Samsung Solstice II

I have a new phone!!! Its a Samsung Slostice II :D Its all touch except for the call, end, and back buttons. My background is green (all 3 of them)! haha. I changed my font to look more like hand writing instead of type. Its pretty cool. Im really happy with it. ESP the fact that it works!!! Isnt it great to have a phone you can actually CALL people with?! wow...who woulda known.
Tho the ringtones are REALLY annoying. I need to download some better ones...

I can hear Madi yelling from the backyard. Her and mom keep yelling about the gate to the backyard. I dont know why.

So someone stole my lock in PE last week. I dont see why someone would steal a combination lock, it wouldnt do them any good without the code. And they didnt steal any of my stuff either. Just the lock was missing. So I thought that was weird. And i was highly highly irritated at this as well. Now i share a locker with another girl in my PE class because I dont want any one to steal my un-guarded clothing/shoes. Isnt that interesting...

Well i was going to tell you what my favorite words are, but i cant think of any. So...yeah. oops.

Im watching Monk. Ive seen this episode about 3 times...this guy is killed, found in a port-a-potty at a music festival :P
everyone says he just OD-ed but Monk says no, he was MURDERED.

chicken lasagna

Well Wall-E is over. I was just watching it here in my room. Its such a cute movie! I love it.
Today I took some more pictures at school, in PE, on the football feild. I think im a pretty snazzy photographer too. The pictures are really good. Though I didnt take all the of them, I cant take all the credit here.

Day Time TV

Well im not at school, once again, due to sleet and snow. UGH....so annoying. Now i have to finish my art project here at home, not what i want to do. But its due Friday and Im not even close. Ice

I just came inside from the snow, and my pants are still wet. It is at LEAST 7 inches in our yard out there.
And everyone knows i live right by a pond right? (Well, if you didnt, now you do.) Anyways, we let Jenny out in the front yard for a while to play in the snow. She decided to run crazily, and went over by the playground.
By that time Mom wanted me to get the leash and collar because more people with more dogs were coming outside. so i run to the house and get Norm to get the stuff, and Im just waitin in the garage. Well then Norm comes out and we see Tyler sprinting up the hill toward us and yelling "DAD! DAD!"
He tells us Jenny fell in the ice, and hasnt come out yet. We ALL start running by then and its very difficult you know, to sprint in foot deep snow. I almost fell like 3 times going down the hill. We finally get to the pond and Mom and the neighbor and Madi and Jenny are all in the pond. Theres a thin layer of ice over the whole thing. Madi is the only one who hasnt fallen through, shes too light. Shes kind of standing on top of it. Mom and Jenny and the neighbor are in the reeds, at the waters edge. The water is up to Moms hip. It looks very cold. Theyre trying to pull Jenny out.
We get to the waters edge and i help mom get out of the snow. Norm grabs Jenny and puts the collar and leash on. We all walk back to the house and I turn on a tub of warm water and we all put our feet in it and it HURTS bc my feet were SOOO numb and frozen.

Im so off. This week has been so weird! I havent been to school in 5 days...its about to be 6 too! The news hasnt actually SAID Sanger is closed Thursday, but Denton is and Sanger just does whatever Denton does, usually.


Someone tell me something interesting. I want something to think about. Im used to being exhausted when i get home, im not used to being so well rested :) haha.
But seriously, gimme something.

Kroger Hysteria

We have this thing called Skyward for my school, and its like an access for parents to look at their kids grades and stuff like that. (My school is really good at calling parents too about absences :P sometimes annoyingly). Anyways, i looked at Skyward for myself this morning and apparently, i was "Present" in both art and PE yesterday, when i was obviously home all day long... hmmm....

We dont have school today! :) too much ice. and snow. we found out like LAST night. Thats how fast they closed everything down. Norm was in town yesterday, and he said he had NEVER seen that many people in Kroger ever. Everyone thought we were gonna be snowed in for a week i guess. I thought it was funny. I can just picture all these hundreds of people running through Kroger, screaming, trying to find frozen pizzas and toilet paper. Then the checkout line would be clear to the back of the store. Isnt it funny to picture?? I think so.

Anyways, i just got up and im just sittn here watching Go Diego Go with Madi in my room. So I thought id tell you whats up.

My Sickly State

So im sick abed. Actually sick a-couch. haha. its actually not very funny. i feel terrible. (right now i am talking to abby on the phone...typing with one finger. ha. talking about mechanics jump-suits. lol...abbys probly reading this thinking im a loser.) Im home all alone with my blanky and vhs tapes. not even kidding. what shall i watch next? The Little Mermaid? Bambi? Fox and the Hound? Those are the ones closest to me.

I stayed home today from school. This stinks. im gonna have so much makeup work. ugh...mom was supposed to drop off my biology project thingy. It was due today, i hope she did.

Today is January 16

Tmrw is MLK day...so no school. which im glad of! haha...just thought id say that.

theres still some snow men around the neighborhood...they havent melted yet. im very surprised. and yesterday, in service, i actaully witnessed the head of a snow man FALL off. i was just watching out the window and there it went! right before my eyes.

i loved the song we sang today at the meeting...the "Be Wise My Son" song. its so sweet! <3

haha, well Im just sitting here...wondering if the meeting is gonna get canceled (i hope not!) because today it started raining about midnite, and started snowing around 8-ish. Im watching it outside the window as we speak :)

We never get snow here so I always get a lil excited when it does flurry (thats all it is here, flurries). Though i highly dislike the snow. Some people really love it and just love love love to play in it, but not me. Good Greif it is waaay too cold out there to play in. and if you think about it, youre playing with shaved ice. Like the kind on snow cones? Yeah. hence the name "snow cone". ha. Who would want to roll around in a giant snow cone??? not me.

But anyways, its snowing out and I just thought id share that.
Its the first snow of the winter, and the first snow of 2011 :)

Well its 2011! Can you guys believe it?! 2010 went by SOOO fast. I was gonna compile a list of things that happened this year, that looking at the links google gave me, I was quite overwhelmed and decided not to. I would have to read through the millions of pages it gave me, choose the most relivent ones to our society, then copy and paste them :P so i decided not to.
